mxc-mipi-csi2.0: is_entity_link_setup, No remote pad found!

With ADV7280A-M and imx8qxp mipi-csi, we are getting:
mxc-mipi-csi2.0: is_entity_link_setup, No remote pad found!

Looking at the following response from NXP Tech Support, it seems that NXP have a solution to this issue:

However, the solution was given to the other customer via email.
