Greetings All,

I am bringing up eMMC on a custom hardware based on SaberLite using i.MX6 SOC. I have a 16 GB eMMC which is up and running, my question is when I brought up my eMMC I am seeing two different partitions mmcblk1boot0 and mmcblk1boot1 (both of 4 MB), what are these partitions. I can also see my eMMC full partition at mmcblk1p1. Does this have anything to do with i.MX6 Fastboot. Given is the kernel log

mmc1: new high speed DDR MMC card at address 0001^M

mmcblk1: mmc1:0001 MAG2GC 14.5 GiB ^M

mmcblk1boot0: mmc1:0001 MAG2GC partition 1 4.00 MiB^M

mmcblk1boot1: mmc1:0001 MAG2GC partition 2 4.00 MiB^M

mmcblk1: p1^M

mmcblk1boot1: unknown partition table^M

mmcblk1boot0: unknown partition table^M

Regards,

Farrukh Arshad.

There are two "Boot Area Partition" on the eMMC IC. The partitions mentioned above for these areas. Though I am not sure how I can utilize their benefit.
