mipi csi-2 aggregation with RGB and ToF sensors along with i.MX 8M

Hi NXP champ

A customer have a topic regarding csi-2 aggregation with RGB and ToF sensors. 

They want to interface with RGB and ToF sensors via 2 channels of CSI-2 interfaces.

And also want to aggregate it inside the i.MX8 and finally send it to the PC through the USB port.

Please provice us with any helpful comments on this topic. 

The concept is similar with SerDes applied use case. But I am asking if the same function could be allowed without SerDes cirguit.

I hope you are doing well.

Based on the attached snapshot, Please find my understandings from below.

-> Multiple RGB and ToF sensors(Camera) are connected over 2 channels of CSI interface. And CSI captured data will be sent to PC via USB interface.

You can connect RGB and ToF sensors(Camera) over CSI line of IMX8 Family processor and capture the recordings into MPU file storage. But for sending the data over USB to PC, In this case I have one query like Are you planning to send all the sensors data at a time or one by one?
