hi all ,

          if anyone knows the solution for the following issue please share. thanks in advance..

Processing: wget

==================

Build path taken because: directory build, no prebuilt rpm,

Cowardly refusing to clobber existing directory:

/opt/freescale/ltib/usr/src/rpm/BUILD/wget-1.9.1

Remove this by hand if you really want to rebuild this package from scratch

Died at ./ltib line 1392.

traceback:

main::build_host_rpms:1392

  main::host_checks:1447

   main:554

Started: Wed Dec  9 15:18:00 2015

Ended:   Wed Dec  9 15:18:00 2015

Elapsed: 0 seconds

These packages failed to build:

wget

Build Failed

Hello Sarathkumar Natarajan,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems installing LTIB on Ubuntu 14.04. LTIB is indeed a bit tricky especially with newer Ubuntu releases. It is recommended to use an older release (ideally 9.04, which is sometimes unsuitable for some) and several community users seems to have been able to run it on Ubuntu 12.04. I would consider migrating to an older version of Ubuntu.

That being said, there is information regarding some possible workarpunds on the following thread, which go from the simple (removing the existing wget files) to the more complex like using a path. I would recommend giving them a try if you rather not change your Ubuntu distribution.

LTIB instalation failed

There is also a document on installing LTIB in Ubuntu 14.04 but chances are you already consulted it. I’m adding it for reference anyway.

Using i.MX 6 Series LTIB on Host Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr

I hope this information helps!
