limit filters flexcan imx6q

Hi,

I am using iMX6Q with has Flexcan Controller, I have some questions :
First, correct me if I am wrong, CAN FD is not supported in iMX6Q (according to this Which processor supports CAN-FD in i.MX6 series?)

However, since the iMX6Q is using Flexcan Controller FlexCAN Controller|NXP, which support "Full implementation of CAN FD", why does iMX6Q not support CAN FD ? Is it hardware limitation ?

Also, what is the upper limit for filters that can be applied using Flexcan linux driver ?

could you clarify question as there are many "filters" description in Reference Manual.

Just for reference attached Linux Manual Chapter 37 FlexCAN Driver gives description of

flexcan driver.
