Hi ,

we are using imx6 solo board and facing Ethernet issue  at 1giga .

Need some support in bringing up Ethernet with 1000 mbps, Ethernet working normal at  100 mbps. But when we try to increase the speed to 1000 mpbs, ,the Ethernet getting disconnected . We can able to achieve the same in our REV1 board, but little packets loss.

Need support to resolve this.

HI,

Actual issue is connecting to 1 gig port, means Im not able to to ping any external IP. When We try to debug using mdio tools , Identified that , some of status registers of phy are differing between between working and non working ones.

We used phy AR8031.

Mainly  phy is detected as master mode in non working board (Local PHY configuration resolved to Master ) and also both  Link Success Interrupt and Link Fail interrupt set in  one of the phy status register.

Kindly help us , if you have any idea.

Thank you.

Dear prakeerthi,

in the Errata document you will find that there is a system limitation on 1 Gb Ethernet MAC (ENET). It is ERR004512

Hi Carlos_Musich

The issue is related to connecting in 1Giga bit. Thought we are able to

establish set the speed to 1Gig using ethtool command , but still we are

not able to ping to any external IP, and it is failing with 100 % packet

loss.

In our revision 1 board, we were able to do the same, but here we are not

even able to ping .

Kindly help us in this regard.

Thank you.
