I'm new to this device, and just want a simple, vanilla, ready-to-write-to-sd-card ISO/IMG file to boot a mcimx6ul.
I've spent hours trying to fight with this "build" system... and it's not working - and too much guessing, I get this error at some point and gave up.
~/Documents/mx6/fsl-release-bsp/out$ bitbake fsl-image-gui
ERROR: OE-core's config sanity checker detected a potential misconfiguration.
Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable the checker (see sanity.conf).
Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:
Failed to create a file with a long name in TMPDIR. Please use a filesystem that does not unreasonably limit filename length.
Failed to create a file with a long name in SSTATE_DIR. Please use a filesystem that does not unreasonably limit filename length.
If someone can give me a clue what to do to get this build system working? Or if anyone out there has a working disc image I can just copy - it doesn't need to do jack squat but boot and show visual evidence that it boots.
