Yes, please refer to AN13430 i.MX 8MP Dual ISI channels for single CSI. I believe it explain your question. There are a lot of information about of ISI.

Can we connect two cameras with two ISI channel to two different CSI (i.e. two cameras to two different CSI using ISI channel ) ?

In the current scenario whenever we are connecting ov5640 to CSI0 on IMX8M plus board it working fine, but when tried to connect it to CSI1 it's not responding ?
