We have a requirement to build a small initramfs suitable for programming into a partitioned QSPI NOR device.
Our BSP is NXP Hardknott 5.10.72 for the iMX8MM EVK
Currently we can flash the QSPI NOR with "uuu -b qspi imx-boot-imx8mm-lpddr4-evk-fspi.bin-flash_evk_flexspi" and get as far as uboot but now we'd like to add an initframfs to boot a kernel and mount a simple FS. We know this is possible as another evaluation board we have can do this.
What we are specifically after are the bitbake commands and any local.conf changes needed to generate an initramfs image (cpio?). Any advice on how to uuu this on top of the spi imx-boot-imx8mm-lpddr4-evk-fspi.bin-flash_evk_flexspi command would be helpful as well.
