We want to upgrade one of our design.

Please let us know, what is the status for  h.264 decoder and encoder support for HP profile in iMx7?

and what are the resolution supported by for H.264 codec.

i.MX7 has not hardware video engine as shown on block diagram below,

so video codec can be implemented in software

i.MX 7Dual Arm Cortex-A7 Processor|Freescale

So IMX7 also no GPU, VPU and V4l2 for hardware decoding, right?

by the way, how to implement for userland for IMX7 using the mipi camera, the PXP driver relative application is too few!
