About imx6ul's eLCDIF, is it possible to use bus first system mode (mpu to init smart lcd's registers) and after init change it to RGB mode (pixel clock mode w vsync hsync)? Is there any technical limits ?
mpu mode is using lcd driver's (ili9488) cs-chip select line and lcd's reset is gpio line.
mpu mode's cs line is reset line in rgb mode. So if after mpu init I set cs-reset to high,keeping cs inactive,change mode to rgb mode, rgb mode's vsync or hsync signals does not harm when connected to also mpu wr and rd lines.
Or is it "must" to use spi bus in these kind of setups to init lcd ?
I have not found any glue is this possible or not. Many thanx of any hint!
