imx6q xwayland process weston-wayland memory eating

Hi All,

i am using the imx6qdl linux-imx krogoth yocto source version (imx-4.1-krogoth -m imx-4.1.15-2.1.0) ,

i am having single main thread where i am using the xcopyarea, xlib function, i am seeing the xwayland process memory is increasing, later the unit is freeze

To rootcause  analaysis this ,

1. commenting the xcopyarea(), all looks fine

2. i tried enabling expose event and handle it before xcopyarea  still increasing 

3 .  i tried enabling expose event and handle it after xcopyarea still increasing 

4. i am using 

PREFERRED_VERSION_gcc = "4.9%"

DISTRO_FEATURES_remove = "directfb"
DISTRO_FEATURES_append = "x11 wayland pam opengl "

SOC_FAMILY = "mx6:mx6q:mx6dl"

Note:

i am getting only noexpose events if i enable Graphicsexpose, 

in blogs i am seeing lot of issue regards this but none help..

if anyone face this please provide you thoughts or input.

i tried this applingg which mentions that leak solve, v2-05-14-imx-gpu-viv-Upgrade-to-6.2.2.p0.patch but i end up in getting error .

You might try the latest BSP since a lot of bug like this are fixed:

migration of BSP is bit difficult this time, as we have create a patch, where our OS  and application is running successfully,

so need to figure how xcopyarea is creating issue
