imx6q mipi bus allowed signal voltage level

Dear NXP

The NVCC_MIPI is recommended as 2.5V from datasheet. I have a camera that outputs 1.8V mipi signals. Can I directly connect those bus signal together? Is a voltage shifter needed? Thank you very much! Please refer the attachment for the mipi signals in schematic screen shot.
