Our application of scene must use 1024x768 for HDMI. But i

found that imx6dl's HDMI transmitter have a problem to output in

1024x768. Others is ok, such as 1280x1024, 800x600.

So, does the imx6dl HDMI support 1024x768 output?

board: Ours

cpu: IMX6DL

BSP: L3.0.35_4.1.0_130816_source.tar.gz

Hi Xiaofei,

Would you please try the attached patch? Please change the HDMI resolution to 1024x768 in your kernel command line.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peterchan,

Thank you. The issue has been fixed. Our display device doesn't support 1024x768.

So, it will be ok to add an default timing for 1024x768 to mode list after got HDMI edid.

The kernel restricts it, if I recall correctly.

You can take a look in Boundary Devices' kernel tree as they have a patch to address it and base on that.

Hi Otavio,

Thank you very much. I don't know how to get kernel tree or patch from Boundary Devices. Could you show me?

Best wishes,

Xiaofei
