Hello Support Team

- snippet from Yocto project user guide

core-image-base A console-only image that fully supports the target device
hardware.  layer - poky

fsl-image-machine-test An FSL Community i.MX core image with console
environment - no GUI interface.    layer - meta-freescale-distro

-snippet end -

what is the difference between the above two images?

no GUI interface refers, after the bootup, Yocto GUI splash screen won't display and directed to terminal.

kindly confirm

Thanks
