imx6 Sabre for Smart Devices Overvoltage Protection Questiın

Greetings,

I am trying to base my design around Sabre SD and I found this to be confusing;

 

For the regulation Zener current is 20mA however resistor 5/2700 = 1.8mA.

Am I missing something or is this a wrong implementation?

Hi Atilla

overvoltage protection does not require high accuracies and according
to zener datasheet below it works fine down to 1-2mA.
