imx53qsb - touch calibration

Hi Team,

Currently Iam working on imx53qsb , looking to calibrate the touch screen using xinput-calibrator or weston-init but iam unable to get support for either of them.

Kernel version: 6.1

Yocto - Kirkstone

Distro-poky

1. when I add weston or weston-init to local.conf using IMAGE_INSTALL:append, It shows below error

ERROR: Nothing RPROVIDES 'weston-init' (but poky/meta/recipes-extended/images/core-image-full-cmdline.bb RDEPENDS on or otherwise requires it)
weston-init was skipped: missing required distro feature 'pam' (not in DISTRO_FEATURES)
NOTE: Runtime target 'weston-init' is unbuildable, removing...
Missing or unbuildable dependency chain was: ['weston-init']

2.When i run xinput-claibrator after building , it shows the error "Unable to connect to X server".

I have exported display command also

Please help me to calibrate the touch screen with any of this methods

I don't think bsp 6.1 can support imx53 qsb

It does not support but we have done changes and able to build it.

Currently I am working on touch calibrstion, Can you please provide any inputs on the above mentioned issues.

How does touch calibration for imx53 was done during linux 2.6.35 release version

Hi All,

I can able to integrate the weston utility in my yocto but when I run, I get the below Error.

root@imx53qsb:~# weston-touch-calibrator
failed to connect to Wayland display: No such file or directory

Please let me know, what dependencies do i need to add.

The above post is related to save the calibration permanently.

But Iam unable to run weston touch calibrator and i get below error.

Can you suggest what changes to be done wrt display for weston.

which backend do you build for your imx53? maybe you can refer to the imx6 document,

Hi Joanxie,

I could able to calibrate touch screen using ts_calibrate.

But when the QT application is executed, touch screen works in reverse direction like when top icon is clicked bottom icon gets executed.

Please suggest how to resolve the QT issue.
