Hi

We are looking into designing a solution using the imx53 processor, and would like to have an evaluation board to try things on. Have looked at the imx53 QSB and the SABRE board, but I haven't been able to qualify them yet.

My requirements on this type of board are

* imx53

* NAND flash available

* Serial port

* Ethernet

* USB

* LVDS output

* SD card optional

* CAN optional

* I2C and SPI externally available desirable

Additionally, HW and SW documentation/BSP/sample designs is of course of interest as well, but not that mandatory

Anyone that has any good candidates?

I am using the DIMM-MX53 from Emtrion, a very capable board, full featured and comes with an excellent dev kit. http://www.emtrion.de/dimm_mx53st_linux_en.php

The difference is NAND, LVDS and CAN. QSB doesn't have them. SABRE has LVDS panel but has no NAND and CAN. Freescale has another i.Mx53 reference design board for automotive which has all the components you need.

Take a look on this

There is an example of imx53 board.

From freescale, you have only QSB and SABRE. Maybe you can find some EVK on someplace.
