imx-yocto-L4.14.98_2.3.1 Release Notes

Hello,

I have a question about the release notes of imx-yocto-L4.14.98_2.3.1. You have written that the tested version for imx-gpu-g2d is 6.2.4.p4.8. I am unable to request the file because it cannot be found. For example "wget http://www.freescale.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8.bin". Do you forget to upload the file or is there a new path to request the file?

If I use

it works. Can you confirm that this is the 32-bit variant?

I´m wondering for imx-gpu-viv the files called

• ...-aarch32.bin
• ...-aarch64.bin

You don't have to build it, but it will be downloaded automatically if your board has g2d, like imx6q or imx8mm.

Yes of course but that wasn´t exactly my question. The version from the manual "i.MX_Linux_Release_Notes" is imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8.bin. When I try to download manually "wget https://www.nxp.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8.bin" then I get the message file not found. So that´s why I ask you if you can confirm that the links below are correct?

aarch32: https://www.nxp.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8-arm.bin

aarch64: https://www.nxp.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8-aarch64.bin

Yes, you are right, I have confirmed it for you, for aarch32, you now need to append "-arm" instead of "-aarch32".

aarch32:https://www.nxp.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO//imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8-arm.bin 

aarch64: https://www.nxp.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-gpu-g2d-6.2.4.p4.8-aarch64.bin
