images & sound lagging issue in Android 6.0 IMX6

Dear Sir/Miss,

Previously my Android 5.0.2 with IMX6Dual can't play Netflix content so recently I just upgraded Android OS to 6.0 and Now Netflix works but the images are lagging and sound has bad quality as well. Any possible reason?

Do I need to install hardware video acceleration software patch such as "OMXPlayer" for Android 6.0? And where can I get the patch?

Thanks for your reply. After we installed AAC plus codec in Android 6.0, now Netflix works without issue.

Is there any license issue of using AAC plus codec?

Hello Danny,

You need install the android 7 for  testing netflix, the bug were fixed until that version.
