iMX7 support of PCM

I want to know whether iMX7 Dual can support PCM from one of the SAI ports. I was told that in iMX6 it is possible, but I have not seen any mention of PCM in iMX7 in the reference manual, Thanks.

In the reference manual.  It is very clear you can configure the SYWD FSE for PCM A and PCM B and I2S.

yes it supports, as PCM is generic name for many formats

in particular SAI supports TDM
