We're using the iMX6ULL and the LBEE5KL1DX WiFi/Bluetooth module. We are experiencing a problem where our device times out anytime it tries to connect to a Wi-Fi network with bandsteering enabled - it tries to connect but is never able to. When connecting to a 2.4 GHz network, there is no problem.
I'm not clear on where this problem would be located - would it be in the kernel config ? Or does something specific have to be included in the application layer code.
As far as I could tell, it is the LBEE5KL1DX that should handle this automatically since the transceiver hardware ONLY supports 2.4 GHz. Any help is much appreciated !
It maybe the driver or firmware problem. You may need to ask the module provider to support this issue.
