Hello team,
I am using iMx6QP SABRE-AI board for which i am connecting muRata Type ZQ EVK. Wifi adapter connected on SDIO2 and BT signals connected on J32.
I am able to finish the boot process and enter the root login.
When i use the command "insmod /lib/modules/3.14.52-1.1.0_ga+g5f6f0a5/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/bcmdhd/bcmdhd.ko firmware_path=/lib/firmware/bcm/ZQ_BCM89335/fw_bcmdhd.bin nvram_path=/lib/firmware/bcm/ZQ_BCM89335/bcmdhd.ZQ.OOB.cal dhd_msg_level=0x1" -> i am facing an error "failed to powerup DHD generic adapter".
Can someone help me on this to bringup Wifi at first?
Please let me know if any other detail needed.
Note: Attached kernel log FYR.
Thank you.

Hi Shyam
please install broadcom firmware package for i.MX Linux L3.14.52 BSP
https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=BCMDHD-L3_14_52&appType=license
if this will not help one can try to obtain updated firmware for BCM89335 module from murata support
link: wireless.murata.com/eng/products/rf-modules-1/wi-fi-bluetooth-for-freescale-i-mx.html
Best regards

Hi Igor,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes i already started checking in parallel with muRata team internally on the link shared above.
In the meanwhile,
Can you help to share the steps to install broadcom firmware package?
This would be helpful to me.
BR
Shyam
Hi Shyam
murata has additional documentation which you can request, as for nxp
documentation one can look at AN5414 Enabling SDIO Wi-Fi on LS1012ARDB
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN5414.pdf
Best regards
