iMX6 with eMMC 5.1 work on Pike OS?

Hello everyone!

I saw in the community some discusses dedicated at the issue between iMX6 and eMMC v.5.1.

In particular, I would like to know if there is a patch for Pike OS and which could be the performances for the link between iMX6 and eMMC 5.1?

Hello Alessandro,

There is currently not support for Pike OS. As for eMMC5.1, the i.MX6 supports up to eMMC 4.4 so newer eMMC versions like 5.1 would work on backwards compatible mode. All features new to version 5.1 won’t be available.
