Hi All

I am developing imx6 ULL project. I use mfgtool to update bin file on SD CARD, It doesn't work.

I got message for uart output as below. How do slove I this problem?

PS: I try to update bin file to SD card from Imx6 UL EVB, and insert it to our ULL platform . Then it can work. It's really strange.

Hi Joan,

FAE already helped us to solve this issue yesterday. Thank you so much.

The key point is that we used sd1 for sd_card. But EVB uses sd2.

So we revised device tree and vbs file.

Hi All

I made another strange issue.

1.

After I update bin file from imx6 UL EVB, I insert sd card into our imx6 ULL platform. Then it works fine.

But no matter which BOOT MODE is selected on our ULL platform, our platform always boots from sd card.

So I can't detect our platform device when using MFGTOOL when setting boot mode at SERAIL DOWNLOAD mode.

I try to print out SRC_SBMR2 value on our imx6 ULL platform. It can print out correctly value by different boot mode.

2.

After I format sd card by pc, MFGTOOL can detect ULL device in SERIAL DOWNLOAD mode.

After updating bin file successfully, it doesn't work.:smileycry:

Does anyone have an idea how solve it? :smileycry:

Now I use a very strange method to do it.

I update bin file to sd card based on imx6 UL EVB.

Then insert sd card to our ULL hardware platform. It works fine.

No matter which boot device(D1-D4) I choose SD card always run first.

No matter which boot mode(D1-D2) I choose SD card always boot first except  RESERVED mode.
