This posting is a tip for those using the latest IMX6_L3.10.53_MFG_TOOL to program a SD Card on the Freescale SABRE Platform MCIMX6Q-SDP.
There are two SD Card slots on the SDP, I am referring to the easily accessible one that on the same board edge as the power and USB connectors, Silkscreen label SD3, Reference Designator J507. This is not SD2 J500.
This tip is for those who want to run the manufacturing tool by clicking on the application "MfgTool2.exe" (default behavior) and don't want to search through all the different (customized) *.vbs script files for the perfect fit:
In the file cfg.ini it is necessary to change the variable "mmc = 0" to "mmc = 2".
Without this change the Manufacturing tool will boot the CPU but the SD Card will not be written.
This change is not required when running the older IMX_6_MFG_L3.10.17_1.0.0_TOOL .
