I'm testing BSP 4.1.0 on imx6qsabresd and I found that with LVDS I can display penguins kernel splash screen but when I connected HDMI I don't see nothing until frame buffer console prompt.
There are some particular bootargs I need to use to enable kernel framebuffer console to display penguins or I have to modify kernel?

i have this same problem, can we reopen this discussion?
with lvds as my primary display, i can see a logo. with hdmi as my primary display, no logo. all other features (graphics, etc) work identical on both displays.
