Dear community,
We are designing a custom board.
[Background]
We are referring the schematic of MX28EVK.
The DCDC_VDDD output is directly inputted into VDDD0-6 .
We know that theDCDC_VDDD should not exceed 1.55V taking into account +3 %
tolerance (when DCDC_VDDD is used to power the VDDD).
We have to drop a DCDC_VDDD voltage for the VDDD margin.
[Question]
What is the recommended solution to drop the DCDC_VDDD voltage ?
Should we insert a resistance or a diode ?
Best Regards,
Koichi Sakagami
Solved! Go to Solution.
The DC-DC converters include such feature as programmable output voltages.
This allows to setup the needed voltage level. Please refer to app note AN4199
for some details how to treat with i.MX28 Power Management Unit.
