Dear community,

I design a custom board with i.MX280 .
As I hope to make the board as small as possible,
I would like to eliminate an unnecessary  capacitance to GND.

In the case of no battery and external loaded device connect with VDD4P2 pin,
Can I eliminate the 33uF capacitance to GND ?
Then the VDD4P2 pin connect to BATTERY and DCDC_BATT via a 1k resistor.

The VDD1P5 pin is same situation.
Can I eliminate the 33uF capacitance with VDD1P5 pin to GND ?

Best Regards,
Koichi Sakagami

Hi koichi

if these power pins are not used at all, one can eliminate

connected to them capacitors. If one uses "5V only schematic"

capacitor at VDD4P2 should be preserved, since VDD4P2 power is used.
