Dear community,
We have been developing our product with iMX253.
Sometimes the iMX253 hangs up.
We believe that the /DTACK signal which is driven by FPGA affects iMX253 behavior.
In IMX25RM (Rev. 2)Table 49-2. WEIM Detailed Signal Descriptions,
/DTACK signal description is as follows.
[For DTACK enabled cycles, the bus time-out monitor generates a BUS ERROR
if DTACK is asserted and is not negated before 1024 clocks have elapsed.]
[Question]
What kind of behavior does the BUS ERROR generate specifically ?
(For example, interrupt to ARM core ...)
Best Regards,
Koichi Sakagami

Hello,
the BUS ERROR for i.MX25 EIM produces ARM Data Abort exception (0x10).
Have a great day,
