We have created a custom board using the iMX251.
Now we have a board with no OS, Drivers, Bootlaoders. We powered the board and JTAG is connected.
Can we write a diagnostic firmware to test the on-board peripherals? Assume i will write a C-program to test the memory interface and then cross-compile this code for iMX251 processor and then load in RAM and run the code using JTAG. Is this is possible? Can somebody explain this to me or is there any document which explains this.
I have seen the different boot-pins and boot-methods available in TRM and trying to understand this. Can somedoy explain this to me?
