iMX 8M Nano - Obsolescence Status

hi,
   We have planned to use iMX 8M nano series in our upcoming projects. But we are seeing that iMX 8M nano series is Scheduled for obsolescence and will be discontinued in some sites.

Is really the Nano series is at EOL?

Can we use it for the new design ?

Is there any alternate for iMX 8M Nano series with low cost?
