There are some bugs in the "fec_mxc.c ", you can download "u-boot-2013.10-rc1" version get the difference between the u-boot-2013.04 version, then you can find the bugs.

How are you setting the MAC Address of the board?
Yes, I set it use "set ethaddr 00:00:01:02:03:04" command.
