i.mx6 quad CPU on EDM SOM module. Constantly hangs after system start.

Hello

I've got this SOM module http://www.technexion.com/products/edm/edm-som/edm1-cf-imx6 with i.MX quad processor installed on the fairy board http://www.technexion.com/products/edm/edm-carrier-boards/edm1-fairy

It has factory installed linux images in flash memory. I tried Ubuntu 12.04 first but it hangs after I start browsing via Firefox. Sometimes it hangs when in terminal but it's pretty rare.

I've tried Yocto, but it hangs too when I open some app with graphics.

Do you flash the image following the instructions of the  User Guide :

What about the heatsink, do you added? do you think you can share more details,  besides the log,  like power supply, or have you contact Technexion?

Yup, I added a custom heatsink with thermal grease.

I use power supply from TechNexion Fairy board http://www.technexion.com/images/downloads/edm/carrierboards/edm1-fairy/edm1-fairy-userguide-091.pdf

I've got an advice from TechNexion yesterday, but they're talking about possible overheat issue. Though this cooler is just warm.
