i.mx6 dual lite Disabling SNVS power

Hello,
we are using a custom i.mx6 board and we want to turn off SNVS power because it needs too much current (40 micro amps). Instead, we want to use an external RTC which uses only 0.5 micro amps.

Does it have any negative affect to turn of this power apart from loosing the RTC on the i.mx6?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but you want to turn off the system for power saving, correct?.

If that is the case then yes, when internal RTC is not used, VDD_SNVS_IN can be connected to VDD_HIGH_IN directly, and the i.MX6DL system could be powered down completely for power saving.
