I use i.mx53qsb to connect usb storage when start linux system. And sometimes occur error.
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 2, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using fsl-ehci and address 3
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 3, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using fsl-ehci and address 4
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using fsl-ehci and address 5
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
When start the linux system, sometimes can plug usb storage, and sometimes can't.
What can cause this error?

-71 means IO error, it seems usb port unstable ,maybe board issue or usb device issue.
You can retry with low speed usb device like usb mouse. If it works, usb port is unstable
for high speed. Then you can check your usb cable.

I have tested on my board, I haven't seen this issue. I think it's maybe the power problem on your hardware, would you please check?

-71 means IO error, make sure usb mouse is connected properly.
