Hi,

As in MCIMX6SLEVK, the crystal part number mentioned is "7V24000002", but could not find the exact description for the crystal. Please let me know the crystal description(Freq. Stability,Freq. Tolerance,Load Capacitance) considered for the SLEVK design.

An orderable part number for the same would be of much help.

Thanks.

Hi Pankaj

for crystal one can also look at BOM file iMX6_SABRE_SDB_DESIGNFILES

and i.MX6 Crystal Drive Level (24 MHz) EB830

Best regards

igor

Hi igorpadykov ,

This query is much related to the SoloLite processor and the Evaluation Board - MCIMX6SLEVK. In the design we can see that 24 MHz crystal along with 2 - 16uF capacitors.

24MHz crystal.jpg

The part number mentioned in the EVK BOM is 7V24000002 from TXC Corp.

The 7V series crystal is available in 3 variants with respect to the Load Capacitance - 8pF,12pF,18pF. Not sure which Crystal variant was used Freescale ! Please update.

Also please let me know the Stray Capacitance value considered.

Thanks.

I does not matter what you are using SoloLite or other i.MX6

Processors - 24Mhz crystal requirements are the same.

Stray capacitance is provided in crystal datasheet and it is different

for each crystal.
