Good Morning,

I intent to use i.Mx 8M Nano Enet interface connected to a 2.5V RGMII, but use MDC/MDIO in a 3v3 circuit.

Can I do this, selecting the MDC/MDIO as another alternate pins powered by 3v3 ?

Per example, use pins E9/F9 which power group is NVCC_I2C but keep using the data pins at NVCC_ENET power group.

Thanks

recommendation is to use datasheet Table 75. i.MX 8M Nano 14 x 14 mm functional contact assignments,

column "Power Group" as main source for such cases:

i.MX 8M Nano Applications Processor Datasheet for Consumer Products

Config tool is just ancillary tool.

Best regards
igor

Hi Sergio

yes this is possible, use pins E9/F9 with NVCC_I2C power group  but keep using the data pins at NVCC_ENET power group.

Hello,

the config tool app did not accept the use of a different vcc group....

@igorpadykov do you think I can really use it at different power group ?

Thanks
