i.Mx 6ULL : serial download procedure using UART 1/2

Hello There ,

For one of our project based on I.mx 6ULL

Actually we want to flash the nand using "serial download mode" through "UART 1/2" as mentioned in document "i.MX 6ULL Applications Processor Reference Manual".

But we are not able to do it based on procedure.

so Can you provide any procedure as well as tool(if require) for the same ?

Q)can UUU utility works with UART 1/2 ports if yes then is there any specific procedure ?

=>UUU supports the USB serial download mode but does not support operations through the UART.

One can flash the NAND using UUU. Please look at the below script for the same.

Thank you for the quick response ,

Actually we have tried using UUU with OTG port and UART1/2 port in Serial download mode,

but it works only with OTG port , we can able to successfully flash the NAND/EMMC through OTG using UUU but not through UART 1/2 ports.

when we try with UART 1/2 port  it's getting stuck in below logs :

uuu (Universal Update Utility) for nxp imx chips -- libuuu_1.2.39-0-gdcc404f

Wait for Known USB Device Appear...

So, that is why we asked here for any specific procedure for flashing using UART 1/2 ports,

can UUU utility works with UART 1/2 ports if yes then is there any specific procedure ?
