i.MX8M plus - MIPI CSI 2 supports packets with virtual channel ID

Dear Team,

My customer is planning to use two MT9M114 (from On-Semi) CMOS sensors and combine the two MIPI-CSI2 ports into one port (using Lattice FPGA device).

My question is, does i.MX8M Plus MIPI-csi2 interface knows to handle virtual channel ID and separate back the MIPI signal into two channels?

unfortunately i.MX8M Plus MIPI-CSI hardware does not support virtual channels, sorry.

Are there any future plans for adding the CSI-2 virtual channels support in i.MX8M plus or any other i.MX family processors?
