Hi Team,
We are planning to use i.MX8M Mini dual core SoC with AP1302 ISP in our product
AP!302 datasheet : https://www.onsemi.com/products/sensors/image-sensors-processors/image-processors/ap1302cssl00smga0-...
AP1302 supports sub-lvds signaling for MIPI interface to connect with 8M Mini.
In 8M Mini datasheet, it is not mentioned that it will support sub-LVDS signaling.
Please confirm whether it will support or not and whether we can interface this ISP with 8M mini dual core.
Looking for prompt support.

Yes, I did.
To verify MIPI CSI compatibility, you need to check MIPI version, maximum bit rate, and impedance.
For further information, check 3.9.7 Single Ended Output Impedance.

Hi,
Yes, it is suitable. There should be no problem with the interfaces.
Both use the MIPI CSI-2 interface. 4 lines at 1.2 Gpbs. The maximum speed supported by the processor is 1.5 Gbps.

Luis.
Hi Luis,
I missed to ask you that did you check MIPI electrical specs of AP1302? If not, please check and confirm that these specs will be compatible with 8M Mini MIPI CSI specification.

Hi Nija Mankodi,
i.MX8M MINI supports MIPI interface but not LVDS.
Unfortunately for this application, our standard BSP does not support this feature. I recommend proceeding with NXP Professional Services
Have a good day!

Luis.
