i.MX8M Mini Chromium hardware accelerated issue on Kirkstone

Hello everyone,

I'm testing Kirkstone yocto release for my i.MX8M Mini board. Using NXP imx-image-full I noticed that Chromium hw accelerated is not working as expected on i.MX8M Mini processor. Every video shown is stuttering and lagging all the time. This is not related to my board because the same happens on IMX8MM-EVK board.
The same image on i.MX8MP, however, is working fine and Chromium is hw accelerated as expected.

Do you have a solution or a workaround for this problem?

Have you tried with latest kernel version?

I'm using NXP Kirkstone that uses 5.15 kernel.
Thank you for the link, but I think that patch refers to Hardknott with 5.10 kernel, it isn't for kirkstone bsp right?
