i.MX8 overshoot and undershoot

Hello,

I am working with an i.MX8 and I want to know the transient overshoot and undershoot at IO pin.

In the datasheet only static values are defined, which are -0.3V and VDD + 0,3V

For example Texas defines theses overshoot and undershoot like this.

Thanks and regards

Hello

I know what DS says but I am not asking for static values but dynamic ones. It is not the same.

What about if there is -0.31V during 1ps? Will i.MX8 break?

Regards

I checked the data sheet, nxp doesn't offer the overshoot and undershoot as percentage like TI, refer to the data sheet,  the minimum allowed undershoot is -0.3V and the maximum allowed overshoot is VDD+0.3V, this is 3.3v+0.3V=3.6v for 3.3v level signal

Hello joanxie,

I had already checked datasheet before i wrote this post. Statics values are only part of the information and they are not very useful since normally these values are exceeded specially in "fast strong" simulation (-40ºC , 1.95V).
What about if there is an undershoot of -0.31V during 1ps? Would i.MX8 be broken?
