hi communicators.

I have one specific question plz help...

- My NXP Board Description Picture:

pastedImage_6.png

 i.MX 8M Mini

pastedImage_9.png

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. I Downloaded i.MX8 MM Android Image on the origin Web site i.MX 8M Mini Evaluation Kit | NXP

pastedImage_2.png

Q10.0.0_1.0.0_DEMO_8MM-DDR4

URL: The Download Link what I Downloaded

so I unzip and executed UUU.exe

.\uuu_imx_android_flash.bat -f imx8mm -a -e -t emmc -u trusty -d mipi-panel

u-boot-imx8mm-evk-uuu.imx flashed the board.

so show you the board CMD screenshot:

pastedImage_12.png

but, something problem found.

Why Not detect the eMMC?

Why U-Boot print out:

Loading Environment from MMC... Card did not respond to voltage select!
*** Warning - No block device, using default environment

pastedImage_17.png

and the command  "mmc list" of U-boot:

pastedImage_15.png

and "mmc info" of U-boot:

pastedImage_18.png

I know the i.MX8MM has an MMC slot on the hardboard.

but I want to Porting the Android OS on the eMMC.

not want MMC(SD Card)

The website states that there is eMMC:

How can I do..?

Hello Lim,

 See below, please!

So we have 2 versions of i.MX8MM-EVK: DDR4 + NAND FLASH  & LPDDR4 + eMMC.

If there is a soket for  NAND Flash on your SOM board of I.MX8MM, it is the version of DDR4+NAND FLASH, which doesn't support eMMC on board.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Hi  lim eon

IMX 8MMini EVK with DDR4  has NAND flash instead of eMMC. Please verify if your board is having eMMC or NAND flash and refer this link for reference.

Let us know in case of any concerns.

oh, my gosh.

my board did not insert eMMC.

Is eMMC included in the product configuration?

I didn't found eMMC chip on my configuration box.

(but 16GB SD Chip was in box. I thought SD is the same thing the eMMC)

but SD is a different thing

embedded MMC is eMMC

and portable MMC is SD.

is right?

Hello Lim,

From the picture you pasted, your I.MX8MM-EVK is the verison of LPDDR4, which supports eMMC.

you can check it according to the below:

hi Wigros Sun

you reply twice on my question thanx!

I have two different boards of NXP.

NXP i.MX8 uuu executed error(unknown command)  <- this(i.MX8MQ) and i.MX8MMini

but here section questions are i.mx8mm.

and you answer me what checking the DDR version.

I think DDR is DDR4 because I attach the screenshot:

pastedImage_10.png
