i.MX7D Strange HAB event after switching to Rev 1.3 of SoC

Greetings,

I work with i.MX7 Dual module and try to enable a SecureBoot feature. All worked well for i.MX7 SoC of Rev 1.2, but after switching to SoC of Rev 1.3, a strange HAB event, which makes SecureBoot fail, started to appear:

=> hab_status

Secure boot disabled

HAB Configuration: 0xf0, HAB State: 0x66

--------- HAB Event 1 -----------------
event data:
0xdb 0x00 0x14 0x42 0x33 0x22 0x33 0x00
0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0f 0x00 0x91 0x00 0x00
0x10 0x00 0x00 0x00

STS = HAB_FAILURE (0x33)
RSN = HAB_INV_ADDRESS (0x22)
CTX = HAB_CTX_TARGET (0x33)
ENG = HAB_ENG_ANY (0x00)

=>

I've googled for this problem and found similar issues on this forum:
https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/iMx7D-HAB-Event-issue/m-p/912400
https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/HAB-loading-to-OCRAM-and-software-update/m-p/972771

And it seems that some solution has been privately provided by NXP employees to the authors of these topics. If it's possible/allowable, could you please share it with me as well?

Additional information about my configuration:
- Freescale i.MX7D rev1.3 1000 MHz (running at 996 MHz)
- U-Boot 2021.04 (but the same issue can be observed on lf-6.1.1-1.0.0 NXP release)
- SPL is used, which is booted from on-board SPI flash.

Please tell if additional information is needed.

Best regards,
Mikhail.

Hi Hector @hector_delgado,

thanks for the feedback! Looking forward for news from you.

Please tell if additional information about me or my organization is needed. Or I can ask my customer, who should have some direct contact/agreement with NXP to reach you privately about this problem. We can continue this discussion in private mode.

Best regards,
Mikhail Vanylin.
