i.MX6ull uart with IR mode

current want to use i.MX6ull uart with IR mode . But found linux kernel have remove "fsl,irda-mode" feature since ver 4.1.xx. How can I use Uart with IR mode to communicate? Does any replacement for "fsl,irda-mode"?
