Could you provide more details?

What do you mean by "i.MX6solo" is stopped monitoring the set temperature of the temperature monitor"?

Is he running Linux ? Processor become hot and powers off or something else ?

What "results" do you wish to know ?  What is "temperature setting value at default" - is it in Linux ?

BTW application Note AN4579 (Rev. 0, 11/2012) "i.MX 6 Series Thermal Management Guidelines"

describes Linux thermal driver on p.63.

Dear Sir.

"More details" are you ... it is following.

1.

Phenomenon for the system to stop when I had it in 50 ℃ ambient temperature

occurs.

2.

To copper without a problem if you lower this temperature environment.

3.

Not that we have to "OFF" temperature monitoring function to stop even

raising the ambient temperature.

From the above results, determined that there is something wrong with the

"temperature monitor function".

Therefore, investigating the details of this function.

OS is "Tron system".

Confirmed the "AN4579"!

Q1.

This feature is what is operating in default?

Q2.

Is it dependent on the OS?

Best Regards,

Jin.

Yes, it is dependent on the OS.

In Linux there is Linux thermal driver, in "iTron" -

you should check it yourselves. If you did not add this

function, probably there is no ability to turn off processor.

Probably you have ddr errors which cause processor to halt.

Please run ddr tests and calibration on 50C temperature.

Hi Jin

"temperature monitor function" is just software driver.

In iTron, if you have not it, there is no need to

"OFF" it. Temperature monitor function is just software,

not hardware feature.

In Freescale Linux BSP, one can

select Configure the Kernel and exit. When the next screen appears,

select the following options to enable/disable this module:

Device Drivers > MXC support drivers > ANATOP_THERMAL > Thermal Zone

Best regards
