In the page 10 of SPF-29364_A1.pdf, There is an MOSFET Q707 and gate pin connected with signal named DISCHG_EN.

1. What is function of Q707?

2. Can customer remove Q707 on their board?

3. Any side effect if remove Q707?

4. What is function of signal DISCHG_EN?

Hello,

   The discharge may be useful, when system reset is implemented as full power off and

then - on (in order to decrease discharge time).

Q707 and DISCHG_EN signal is used to discharge the SOC voltage when power is turned off.

You can remove it if you do not want to use it.
