Hi.
I'm currently trying to find a replacement for a PXA270 based product since the PXA is going EOL. Looking at the i.MX6UL it seems like a good candidate. Our PXA implementation currently draws apx 50mW with Linux running (totally idle).
According to https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN5345.pdf 4.1.2. Table 2. i.MX6UL should be able to go as low as 20mW in the same scenarion.
When looking at different SOM implementations from various manufacturers the story seems to be another. No one specifies anything lower than apx 4-500mW if not in suspended mode.
I actually ordered an evaluation kit from one of the companies (not NXPs eval kit) to make some measurements of my own. With Linux booted but idle I get apx 300mW which is far from what I need.
What is the absolute lowest power consumption that I can expect to get from a i.MX6UL/ULL based SOM?
