i.MX6SL not booting and nothing on uart

I have a problem with booting up a imx6sl board. I have connected the USB to UART to my machine running Ubuntu at 115200 baud and when I apply power to the board I do not get any output from the UART. I also have the Android flash installed in SD2 slot, which I have tried both flashes and tried to create my own.

This is a band new board I just got, I have tried a imx50 and imx53, which both boot and display data on the UART port.

The Switches on the board match the silk screen any suggestions?

Which board is that? How did you build U-boot? FSL U-boot does support mx6sl_evk board that you could use as a reference.

It turns out the evk I got did not have the processor solder to the board, I retuned the board and got one with a processor and now U-boot comes up :-)
